This high-caliber construction encompasses features such as top-notch quality, substantial size, elevated hook height, dock levelers, extensive lay-down areas, and specialized facilities like cold storage.
Leveraging a blend of local and international specialists, Cold Solutions Kenya aims to operationalize the Tatu City facility within 12 to 18 months. The facility's flexible design caters to diverse temperature ranges (+26 to -40 C) and accommodates various product categories, including fresh produce, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, meats, poultry, and frozen foods.

The Cold Chain Solutions East Africa Fund, spearheaded by ARCH, envisions developing large-scale energy-efficient cold chain solutions and end-to-end logistics across East Africa, covering Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda. The fund plans to construct up to 10 state-of-the-art temperature-controlled cold storage warehouses, investing a minimum of KSh 21.4 billion (US$200m) in the region.
